Whether you follow a keto diet, paleo diet, or are just watching your carb intake, it’s time for you to enjoy the best gluten-free pizza recipe ever!.  This recipe is great for anyone who is celiac or has a gluten intolerance.  While I did not create the original fathead pizza dough recipe, I have added my own twist over the years.

You no longer need to give up pizza if because of gluten allergies.  This recipe was hand-picked for you.  Yes, you can find alternative crust pizzas at the supermarket.  None will come as close as this recipe to the original pizza.  Make it as thin or thick as you like.  Top it with anything your heart desires.  No one will know the difference and you can enjoy a guilt-free slice!

Best Gluten-Free Pizza Recipe Ever

Pizza is a staple in almost every household in North America.  You can find a pizza shop on almost every corner that will gladly deliver your pepperoni and cheese any day of the week.  Walk down the freezer section of the local grocery store and see literally hundreds of brands, flavors, and crust styles.  The decisions are endless.  But, one thing is for sure, none will be as healthy or delicious as this gluten-free pizza recipe.

Time For You To Enjoy The Best Gluten-Free Pizza Recipe Ever!

With so many reasons for folks to cut out or reduce carbs – diabetes, wheat allergies, celiac, and more, this fathead pizza dough recipe gives you the satisfaction of eating a nice crusty pizza, with none of the guilt.  This pizza is not only delicious it is fun to eat and has all the flavor of a regular pizza crust.  Give this gluten-free pizza a try.

You need only 4 simple ingredients and about 40 minutes of your time from start to finish.

Ingredients

Shredded mozzarella cheese – 1 cup
Almond flour – 1 cup
1 tablespoon of cream cheese – at room temperature (substitute with Boursan or herbed cheese for extra flavor)
Egg – 1 at room temperature
1 tsp of baking powder (optional – gives the pizza a fluffier texture)

Gluten Free Pizza

This recipe feeds 2 people.  Double up the recipe for 4 or triple up for 6 people.

Directions:

The CRust
  • In a large bowl mix (with a wooden spoon) the mozzarella cheese and the almond flour until combined
  • Add the cream cheese on top
  • Place in the microwave for 45 seconds on high
    • Mix the ingredients well using a wooden spoon
  • Place in microwave for an additional 45 seconds on high
    • Mix the ingredients well using a wooden spoon
  • Add the egg and stir in with a wooden spoon
    • You may need to finish kneading the dough by hand
    • Be careful as it can be quite hot
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • With wet hands spread the dough as thick or thin as you like it across the pan
    • Keep a bowl of water to moisten hands while spreading the dough as it can be sticky
  • Pierce the dough with a fork to avoid bubbling up
  • Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 11 minutes until slightly golden
The Toppings
  • Use any of your favorite toppings – name your pleasure
    • Pizza sauce
    • More cheese
    • Veggies
    • Pepperoni
  • Bake for another 10 minutes
  • Slice and serve

More Ideas:

This gluten-free pizza recipe is very versatile.  Spread it out thinly and cut with a pizza dough cutter into triangles before baking to create your own nacho chips or crackers.

Add your favorite herbs or spices to the mozzarella and almond flour mixture and create your own exotic crust, crackers, or chips.

Separate the dough into 6 balls and have freshly baked dinner rolls any time you have a craving.

Roll the dough out and use a large circle ring to create some delicious and filling flatbread burger bun.  I use my empty plastic spreadable cheese container because it makes the perfect-sized buns every time!
